Psychology Courses
The complete list of Psychology courses
can be found in the on-line Undergraduate Bulletin. To access the
course listing in the Bulletin, click
here, then scroll down the menu on the left and select Psychology (begins
near the top of page 465).
Students may also wish to review the courses offered in the current semester. A list of course offerings for the Spring 2009 semester can be found by clicking here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of the
courses in the major have been renumbered started in the Fall 2009 semester.
Please be careful when registering for courses, remembering that:
- Because of the renumbering, you may have two courses on your
transcript with the same number. This is OK.
- New courses numbers are indicated on ACES with the notation (RE)
after the number, with a notation re: the 'old' number in the course description.
- The introductory/survey courses formerly numbered PSY91, PSY92, PSY97, and PSY99
have now been renumbered as 100-level courses. However, students who
matriculated prior to Fall 2009 and wish to complete the "old" requirements of
the A.B. major may only count two of these
courses toward the major. If a student wishes to count more than two of these toward the major, (s)he would have to complete the revised major requirements.
- FYI, the specific courses that have been renumbered are:
- PSY 91 --> PSY101RE
- PSY 92 --> PSY102RE
- PSY 97 --> PSY103RE
- PSY101 --> PSY150RE
- PSY102 --> PSY110RE
- PSY103 --> PSY 50RE
- PST116 --> PSY104RE
- PSY119A --> PSY100RE
